Even though we've withheld her name to protect her identity we still wanted to pass her question and our answer along to you because you've taken the time to visit this site on overcoming jealousy.

Here's her question to us about jealousy...

Question-- "Just wondered if you had ever thought of the possibility that the jealousy comes from a past life with a partner and not the present life you are sharing together if there is absolutely no reason why you should feel jealousy?"

We thought this was an interesting question and whether you believe in past lives or not it brings up a big challenge concerning jealousy in relationships.

Most people (including this person) don't really want to face the challenges that they are having in their lives. They don't want to do what it takes to really look deep within themselves and realized that whatever is going on in their relationships and lives that they are responsible.

Answer--Sure, it's possible that jealousy is coming from a past life with a partner.

That being said-- We're in this lifetime. If you're having issues with jealousy in this lifetime, it is probably going to be in your best interest to look at this lifetime to see what is causing the jealousy within you in this lifetime.

There's always a reason for jealousy being a factor and present in your life even if it isn't apparent to you now.

You just have to look deeper or in different ways into the "why" that jealousy is coming up as a challenge for you.

Jealousy is almost always rooted in fear. What do you secretly fear will happen to you and this relationship?

Examine those fears, questions and doubts and you're likely to find the cause of your jealousy.
